How to apply

For detailed information on the Active Transportation Fund, including applicant and project eligibility requirements and instructions about how to apply for funding, please read the Applicant Guide.

Determine Eligibility

Applicants should first ensure they are an Eligible Recipient and that the project is an Eligible Project, as described in the Applicant Guide.

The list of Eligible Expenditures and the Maximum Program Contributions should also be reviewed in order to determine the requested amount of funding.

Apply through the Applicant Portal

The first general intake for the Active Transportation Fund closed on March 31, 2022. Only applications from eligible Indigenous recipients are accepted on an ongoing basis through the Applicant Portal.
