HIFIS 4.059.2 release notes

Warning

Before implementing this version:

  • create a backup of your database
  • take a snapshot of your application tier

This is important in the event that you need to roll back the changes.

If you have not yet implemented releases 58.1 or above, note that updating to release 59.2 may have an impact on your custom reports.

Release highlights

  • The Point-in-Time (PiT) Count Module: Updated PiT Count module with the 2021 version of the survey. This includes 2 additional questions
  • Two minor changes and 25 bug fixes

When updating to release 4.0.59.2

You can apply the coordinated access consent to every client that currently has explicit consent on their installation.

This is for communities who have:

  • already sought the coordinated access consent from their clients, and
  • recorded it in HIFIS as a “bundled” consent using the existing explicit consent functionality

Choosing to opt-out of this option means that you will need to manually add the coordinated access consent for each client separately. The option will not present itself again in the future.

Point-in-Time Count

  • New racial identity question added to the core PiT Count survey: question 8b. In addition to your response in the question above, do you identify with any of the racial identities listed below?
  • New COVID-19 related question added to the core PiT Count survey: question 14b. Was your most recent housing loss related to the COVID-19 pandemic?

Coordinated Access

Booking out a client now maintains a client’s status as active.

Medication

New right added; Dispensing on Another’s Behalf.

Bug fixes

Changes in this release affect the following modules or sections.

Assessment

  • Fixed error message that would appear after saving changes to a SPDAT record and clicking the edit button again
  • Users with no rights to the parent service provider can no longer see their VAT attachments
  • Fixed the SPDAT survey not refreshing properly after saving changes

Case Management

Last Updated and Created by now show the correct information on the case comment page.

Client Details

  • Fixed bug that would not allow users to change client vitals for users with Inherited consent
  • Fixed timeout error when accessing clients with large amounts of custom table records

Consent

  • Clients with Declined Anonymous consent can no longer be given Coordinated Access consent
  • Fixed issue where users were not able to apply a new consent when presented with the assertion pop-up box

Coordinated Access

  • Fixed typos on the Coordinated Access filter
  • Fixed Case Management not appearing as a recent interaction if the record is created on the same day as the client
  • Newly created clients are now not appearing as "returning from inactive" in the Unique Identifier List

Family

Fixed Consent drop down when using "Create and Add Member" feature in the family module.

Good and Services

Fixed the issue with the add service form freezing after saving; users can now create new services.

Help

Fixed the delete action in the HIFIS Field Dictionary. Users can now delete customized description and revert to the default description.

Housing History

  • The Housing History notification will now not appear for deceased and archived clients
  • The Housing History notification will now not appear for clients that are booked into a shelter

Housing Loss Prevention

  • Fixed the New Follow Up form; Months Elapsed field only accepts numbers and saves without freezing
  • Fixed missing AntiForgeryToken when trying to add a follow-up

Housing Placement

Fixed view that would allow hidden Housing Placements to be seen by users who are logged into a different service provider.

Look-Up Table

Added default values to the Employer Look-up table.

Medication Dispensing

Fixed error that would appear when trying to undo the dispensing of a medication.

Users

  • Default Service Provider field now appears in the Display User Profile page
  • Fixed issue where an error encountered on user pages would persist through the application

Various Factors

Fixed missing AntiForgeryToken when trying to add a contributing factor.

Waiting List

Fixed “Delete Waiting Lists” user right. Users are now able to delete waiting lists.
