Residents to benefit from safer, smoother roads in Mount Pearl

The governments of Canada and Newfoundland and Labrador announced more than $9.4 million in federal-provincial funding for two roads improvement projects in Mount Pearl. This investment will improve traffic flow on Commonwealth Avenue, Topsail Road between Farrell Drive and Blackmarsh Road, as well as Blackmarsh Road between Topsail Road and Hillside Subdivision Emergency Access Road. These projects will help get Canadians and their families to and from their destinations safely and efficiently.

Better water and wastewater infrastructure for Springdale residents

The governments of Canada and Newfoundland and Labrador today announced more than $29.3 million in joint funding for 77 infrastructure projects across the province.

This support will help upgrade the Pleasant Avenue water and sewer systems in Stephenville, sanitary sewer upgrades in Botwood, and make important upgrades to road systems in Paradise to help traffic flow more efficiently and install new wastewater systems.
