Better water and wastewater infrastructure for Springdale residents

the Honourable Dwight Ball, Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador; Scott Simms, Member of Parliament for Coast of Bays—Central—Notre Dame, on behalf of the Honourable Amarjeet Sohi, Minister of Infrastructure and Communities; the Honourable Eddie Joyce, Minister of Municipal Affairs and Environment; and Brian Warr, Member of the House Assembly for the District of Baie Verte-Green Bay, announced over $356,000 in federal and provincial funding to upgrade the infrastructure on Orange Lane and Churchill Place in Springdale.

Governments of Canada and Newfoundland and Labrador announce joint-funding for infrastructure projects

The governments of Canada and Newfoundland and Labrador today announced more than $29.3 million in joint funding for 77 infrastructure projects across the province.

This support will help upgrade the Pleasant Avenue water and sewer systems in Stephenville, sanitary sewer upgrades in Botwood, and make important upgrades to road systems in Paradise to help traffic flow more efficiently and install new wastewater systems.
