Saint Andrews residents to benefit from arena roof refurbishment

Karen Ludwig, Member of Parliament for New Brunswick Southwest, on behalf of the Honourable Amarjeet Sohi, Minister of Infrastructure and Communities, John Ames, New Brunswick Minister of Tourism, Heritage and Culture, and Doug Naish, Mayor of the Town of Saint Andrews announced funding to upgrade the roof at the W.C. O’Neill Arena.

On October 27th, government representatives announced over $1.3 million in funding to refurbish the iconic Bill Thorpe Walking Bridge. The modernization project will ensure the safety and viability of the bridge in addition to promoting a healthy and active lifestyle and driving local economic activity by attracting tourists for decades to come.
