Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Transport, Infrastructure and Communities and for the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario

Riding: Nepean-Carleton (Ontario)

Pierre Poilievre was first elected to the House of Commons in 2004 and re-elected in 2006, 2008 and 2011. Previously, Mr. Poilievre served as Parliamentary Secretary to the President of the Treasury Board and Parliamentary Secretary to the Prime Minister and to the Minister of Intergovernmental Affairs.

Mr. Poilievre owned and operated a communications and market research firm before taking his seat in Parliament.

He is a member of the Royal Canadian Legion.

Mr. Poilievre studied international relations at the University of Calgary.
